Kids Comic Art Show at the Pavilion!

Sunday 14th September 2025 saw the end of the Drawn Together Comics Festival that started way back on 27th July with my Whistle Stop Comics Tour and comics jam and finished with a rather lovely little exhibition!

 

Here are some pictures from that charming event. I took the opportunity to show off our new Tales of the Emotosphere banner given to us by our publisher Zuntold. It's a thing of beauty and really sells the book well, so big thanks to them!

I had some some great chats with those who attended and the art looked superb. There were some very proud kids and parents!

 

 

 

 

What is StoweBot?

 With Tales of the Emotosphere coming out 18th September I thought I'd share some behind the scenes fun, starting with StoweBot.

August Rocked at the Pavilion!

Something awesome happened at the Nightingale Pavilion, Cambridge this summer!

 

 

We held the Drawn Together Comic Festival and it was a roaring success! Here are some pictures from the various events and workshops.

 First up was a whistle stop history of comics... Russ style!

Then followed three comics art workshops. Over the three workshops 51 different children attended! Amazing!

The imagination challenge was a fan favourite. The kids shouted out the most random things to see if they suggest something I cannot draw... Good luck kids! In the three sessions I was defeated only once! 

The creativity and vibe of these workshops blew me away! The kids really stepped up and drew their socks off!
